Hello friends! 
We started the summer season on the beautiful rooftop of Kleingarten, Istanbul. It was the grand opening of the year so it was very crowded and super fun to play!

This was our first hybrid set in a loooong time (since 2016 actually) and a challenging experience but in the end it was a rewarding one. We're grateful for everyone who got in the mood with us, danced, and shared joy! 

Many thanks to the original artists who inspired us to play guitar, synths and various samples on top of their wonderful craft. 
And of course thanks to the Klein and Kleingarten teams who made this happen in the best possible way!

Pandhora @ Kleingarten Istanbul | Hybrid Set W/ Guitar & Keyboard [24.05.19]

I’m happy to present you what happened to be a true adventure & a musical highlight for me this year, Journey to Tarab 2019.

The story takes place in two chapters, recorded on the Drachen Nest Saturday night in Zsambek, Hungary.

CHAPTER I

It’s 7:45pm and I’m in the DJ booth of the Drachen Nest, my equipment is connected and I’m ready to play. In the center of the dancefloor, a beautiful tandem are performing live with a super cozy setup & I discover the talented duo Ameli Paul. The stage manager gives me a sign that it’s their last song, and I have my intro tracks and samples selected - I’m ready to go and ecstatic to play. 

As my first track is playing, it only takes a few minutes before the wind blows dark and dense clouds hover above our heads. The rain starts pouring; showers. I look down for only a few seconds to mix in the next song but by the next time I look up, everyone has vanished.

A small group of people with the most vibrant energy came to seek shelter in the booth and it truly cheers me up. I’m so excited to be there and I know that such heavy rain won’t last long, staying optimistic that people will come back.

As the rain calms down, people come back, one by one. Umbrellas, raincoats, mud & smiles. The crowd continues to grow and I get to meet my dance floor one person at a time. The rain has stopped. The Drachen is blowing smoke while the sun disappears & I feel the dance floor is finally in symbiosis. I evolve tempo by a few BPM & as my most energetic track of the set drops…

B L A C K O U T. No sound, no light, it is total darkness on the dance floor, a complete power outage.

We woke up with a smile on our face today. It's one of those days that you can easily sense the greatness that is surrounding us.

For the past weeks, months, years now we have been surrounded by the most amazing music created for you. And it's an undeniable fact that this music is elevated by the love of our crowd. It's extraordinary to experience.

This year at The Monastery we took Timujin from the large stages and into the depth of our crowd. The result of this closeness have simply stunned us.

Enjoy the journey that the Russian greatness has created for you and make sure to find your way to our lunar show in Amsterdam on September 14 to see this one in action.

Here's one of my favourite recordings from Burning Man 2019. Recorded on Sunday night at my lovely camp, Miki Beach. After 7 days in the desert with all the amazing experiences and intense emotions i went through, i tried to capture it and wrap it in one piece! Includes an unreleased track and a remix by moi. Catamine is an eclectic sound influenced by deep house and eastern rhythmic beats. 

Healthcare professional during the day,  Eiman hails from Texas, his mixes are heavily infused with beats and sounds that draw from his Persian background. Being a music lover his entire life, he only recently began falling in love with electronic music. 

For his first set playing in front of a group, he had the privilege to spin for Camp Alborz at Burning Man. Eiman's passion for music and mixing shines through in his creative and spiritual mixes where he truly captivates his listeners.
