When I heard that the bass player and lead singer of my absolute favourite Dutch act Froukje were coming down to my show at Skatecafe last October, I couldn’t resist the urge to make them a little musical surprise. I tried to combine the beautiful vocals of their song "Een Teken" with instrumentals from my world and turn it into a track that would embrace the fragility of the lyrics, but at the same time could get the dance floor going. 

I was pleasantly surprised by the result and also very happy to hear it went over well with Froukje and the band. After playing the track at almost all of my shows over the past months and receiving so many questions about when it was coming out, I’m thrilled to announce I have received permission to release it as an unofficial remix today.
