"Man, I made this beat exactly 4 years ago. December 2016. I first had the inspiration for this track in 2017/2018 riding home on the bus, but could only figure out half of what I wanted to talk about. 2020 finally gave me the inspiration to come back to it and find the right words to express myself." " I remember working on the beat for FRIENDS shortly after I finished the beat for "WE WANT". Didn't think it was anything special at the time, but I enjoyed working on it.
