Speakers:

Shira Hassan is the author of Saving Our Own Lives and a lifelong harm reductionist and prison abolitionist. Shira has been working on community accountability for nearly 25 years and has helped young people of color start their own organizing projects across the country. She has trained and spoken nationally on the sex trade, harm reduction, self injury, group work and healing & transformative justice.

Mariame Kaba is an organizer, educator and curator who is active in movements for racial, gender, and transformative justice. She is the founder and director of Project NIA, a grassroots organization with a vision to end youth incarceration. She is the author of We Do This 'Til We Free Us and No More Police.

adrienne maree brown grows healing ideas in public through her multi-genre writing, her music and her podcasts. adrienne has nurtured Emergent Strategy, Pleasure Activism, Radical Imagination and Transformative Justice as ideas and practices for transformation. She is the author/editor of seven published texts and the founder of the Emergent Strategy Ideation Institute, where she is now the writer-in-residence.

The Native Youth Sexual Health Network (NYSHN) is an organization by and for Indigenous youth that works across issues of sexual and reproductive health, rights and justice throughout the United States and Canada.

Erica Woodland is a facilitator, psychotherapist, healing justice practitioner and the Founding Director of the National Queer and Trans Therapists of Color Network, a healing justice organization that envisions a bold vision of care rooted in collective healing and liberation. He is co-editor and co-author of the forthcoming book Healing Justice Lineages: Dreaming at the Crossroads of Liberation, Collective Care and Safety (North Atlantic Books, 2023).

Thank you for checking out my profile!  A little about me that you may not know.  I am a Second Generation German (Pedigree on my fathers side )& part African American (my mother BTW was Oakland California's 1st Black Ms. Oakland), I"m often mistaken for Persian, or middle Eastern, Perhaps my green eyes, and unibrow was to blame..

 I grew up watching my  fathers musical accomplishments, in total awe.  HIs talents  allowed  him to string flawless funk bass riffs, with his Cover band, 'Paris Nights', and at the peek of dads' Professional Career he'd toured with renown acts, such as:  Prince, Luther Vandross,& Gloria Estefan.   Concerned with musical  Entertainments'' nuanices,  and negativities within the  industry, my father chose to be  a full time dad, to raise me without the sound of music.  FORBIDDING an activities that dealt with instruments, not allowing me to even participate in school choir!  I was suppressed from the music scene voiding any hopes of  musical exploration.  As a freshman I began writing myown lyrics.

 Talented & Gifted, w/ ADHD, & high aptitude in problem solving, I was groomed, and  college prepped for a bright  promising future as one of scientist youngest laboratory techies. Coupled with 10+ years Training In all Qualified Art Forms (within an accredited institutions), Expertise/Genre Style examples: Contemporary, Surreal, all ranges of Cartooning, & reimagining.  California offered tons of opportunities, experience in front of and behind the motion camera lens.  

  I am an Empathic, Cancerian, Realist, a free thinker, and I guess u could say avid gamer  artistically inclined genius with a  creative spirit.  On my free time I enjoy blogging (drogging drunk blogging), a good action film, and being with friends & family.  Although I have always lived a typical city life, I'm well inclined with my surroundings; I do harbor internal urges to live a much simpler, natural, 'Off the grid', existence. I admire, respect, and observe all creeds, races Coltures & customs, and one day would love to see in person exsiting international Monuments, tour a Space Station, collaborate on the creation of a video game  of my design, and MOSTLY adding my influential energy,  as to become apart of mankind's detrimental positive elevolutionary changings.
