Bray Dingelius has been passionate about music since childhood, discovering his love for singing at an early age. He has created a collection of original songs that have caught the attention of fellow Palauan artists, who have performed his compositions. Despite his talent, Bray has yet to record a full album, which is long overdue. During high school and college, he gained a reputation by performing at various clubs, captivating audiences with his powerful voice. After leaving Palau for opportunities abroad, he shifted focus to daily life, sidelining his musical aspirations. Bray comes from a lineage of musical talent and has found inspiration from an accomplished composer relative. Most of his performances have been with live bands, enriching his passion for music collaboration. Even with life's demands, he continues to compose, keeping his creative spirit alive. Today, he dreams of sharing his art with the world and hopes to record the songs that mean so much to him. Most of these tracks are live recordings from about ten years ago, these are just a few of his live recordings, showcasing his unique singing style. Enjoy the music!

Mr. Kaluu embodies a unique musical style that inspires and sets him apart from many artists in our homeland of Palau. After immersing myself in a variety of his tracks spanning multiple albums, it became evident that his work is infused with a delightful and refreshing sense of humor. His lyrics often cleverly intertwine wit and insight, showcasing his ability to turn everyday situations into entertaining narratives. Each song feels like a unique journey, where listeners can appreciate not only his artistic creativity but also his playful approach to storytelling.

I want to mention that I am unsure of the correct spelling of Mr. Kaluu's first name. I have used the spelling from the album cover, but if anyone knows him, please ask him to clarify the correct spelling for me. I want to ensure respect and accuracy when using his name. Thank you, and enjoy!

LUIS KALUU - ELID ALBUM

Edward Ongrung is a musician from Palau, renowned for his performances of Palauan songs. I have a deep affection for the song "Delcheruk," which evokes fond memories from my childhood. I vividly remember the afternoons spent with my grandmother during her visits to Palau. We would sit together in the gentle warmth of the sun, the salty breeze of the ocean wrapping around us as we listened to "Delcheruk." The melodic notes would fill the air; every time I hear that song, I am transported back to those moments. It always brings me a profound sense of comfort and nostalgia, reminding me of her laughter and the love that enveloped those peaceful days. I hope you enjoy his music as much as we have. EDWARD ONGRUNG - LENG SUPER ALBUM

Here are some compositions by Yoichi K. Rengiil. He performed many of his own songs, while others have sung pieces he composed over the years. More than forty to fifty years have passed since some of these recordings were made, and some compositions are collaborative works. One of the songs included is “Tonight, My Love Tonight,” a piece originally by Paul Anka that Yoichi performed beautifully. I added it to this album because I love his interpretation of it. "Wakare No Hayasani" was composed by Ymesei Ezekiel in 1956. According to Jim Geselbracht's research in the book “Adidil er a Klechibelau: Songs of Palau, 1915-1970,” Yoichi recorded this song at the radio station Ngerel Belau with the Voice of Palau Band, which featured Hidebo Sugiyama on mandolin.

I am sharing these songs in the hope that you will enjoy them as much as I do. I dedicate this collection in honor of the late Yoichi K. Rengiil, who was a father figure in my life for many years. Throughout our time together, he taught me about our Palauan history and the traditional music of our culture. He was well-respected and loved by many, and he accomplished a great deal during his lifetime. He will surely be missed. May he rest in heavenly peace.

  Deborah T. Fambro and Yoichi K. Rengiil composed the song ARSM, drawing inspiration from the tragic tale of a young American who was involved with a Palauan girl. Tragically, he passed away in California as a result of a fatal accident while visiting his girlfriend.

I first encountered this poignant melody in my hometown, the picturesque islands of Palau, where it was performed by Edward Ongrung. Each note of this composition is intricately woven with the joyful moments I shared with my grandmother, rendering it a valuable part of my musical journey.

In this interpretation, I am privileged to utilize Edward Ongrung's original accompaniment and am pleased to note that he is aware of my cover. I have undertaken the challenge of performing both the lead vocals and the supporting harmonies, blending my voice with Edward Ongrung's accompaniment. I was informed by Yoichi K. Rengiil that this song was composed by Felix Okabe. It is my sincere aspiration that you find enjoyment in this rendition, as it represents a labor of love and a tribute to the memories I hold in high regard.
