The first half of the new drop is a tribute to our white oppressors who glorify how people of color have assimilated to European racial bias, stereotypes, and agendas. Towards the end of the track, T.K. begins to touch on the Rebellion. Throughout the record, he chants "Hell Naw" to represent all of the ancestors rising up to awaken our true version of self, stimulating power to all of our pineal glands.

"Heaven Flow" is built over a beat from Flying Lotus' 2010 EP Cosmogramma, and T.K. took advantage of the laid back production to experiment with his style. "I got tired of overanalyzing my music," he explains, "so I created a rapping style to free myself from the confines of perfection and called it 'The Heaven Flow'." The style, according to T.K., is more poetically inspired than his usual rapping. "I wrote whatever I felt, thought, tasted, saw, and experienced," recalls T.K., noting that the message of the song wound up being equally inspired by the style of the writing. "Everyone can be great," he remarks. "You are the only person that holds yourself back."

The beat is produced by THC and T.K. came across the production when listening to Nipsey Hussle's recent mixtape, The Marathon Continues. "Once I heard the beat, the words to the verse just spilled from my soul," T.K. says, noting that he altered the name of Nipsey's original version slightly to represent his hometown of Oakland. 

"Forever On Some Town Shit" has lyrics that challenge the deeper meaning of what is seen in economically depressed neighborhoods, and also to question the livability of those neighborhoods. "Most of the times morals don't coincide with this hood shit/ Doing bad deeds just end up with good shit," raps T.K. "Plant the crack/ You don't see the trap, my goodness/ Liquor store, church, trap, Popeye's/ Ain't a whole foods in hood, I wonder why."

Red Revolver, a six-track project by Oakland's "prince of change-ups" presents an explanation to the producers frenetic style that includes his interpretation of trap, dub-step, EDM, and Trap - a sound that was generated by his hip-hop group, League510.

Remixing popular Morgan Page productions, the project is unique due to T.K.'s approach of developing purely from the title track's vocal compositions and interpreting what he felt the beat should be from that solely. Given the technique, listeners will truly get to hear his originality and what his style brings to vocal artists of all genres.
