Metge (@metgemusic) is the musical project, where hardware, software and samples are mixed together to create melancholic, narcotic and cinematic environments.

From the combination of experience and vision, in Metge they find their balance, through a feeling made music. Closer, in collaboration with the Australian vocalists JEM, is the debut on Chromatic Club (@chromaticclub) that points to a sound full of cinematographic influences, until finding a set that is a progression of chords that are like serotonin bombs, also testimony of a complex era, which seeks redemption at all costs.

The album is made up of two tracks: Closer and Acidlife, and they are presented as a romantic ode to eclecticism, which is sustained in strange and elusive terrain, but that is where this singular producer achieves his final goal: to sound new without being new, to sound Old without looking like it, masterfully alternating each genre and leaving the labyrinth knowing that, whether it has been forward or backward, the journey has been worth it.

Few producers know how to play their cards as well as he does, scoring an EP that calls into question the rules of the genre, building a timeless set, to which we will go over time trying to decipher that magical and complex mechanism that manages to transcend all expectations.

Ortac Genc is a Turkish Dj/Producer with very diverse and global inspirations. Currently, he is focusing on his new Indie Dance project Fat&Bald. His influences are mainly Dark Disco, Synth Wave, New Wave,  Italo Disco and Ebm. And how to leave Breakbeat and Leftfield aside?

He appeared on magnificent Berlin based label Ombra International March, 2020 and feeling the joy of releasing his first EP, Parallel Dimensions, with visionary UK based Nein Records. His first EP quickly reached Top 5 status in the Beatport Top 10 Releases charts. 

Music came to Ortac early in life where he started playing bass guitar and up-right bass. His love for the stage comes from connecting with live audiences as he played with various Rock bands for over a decade. He decided to combine his roots in Rock and Classical music with electronic music after his sound design training in New York City. This is why Fat&Bald can be easily distinguished by organic elements brought into the songs by silky guitars, hardware synthesizers and extraordinary fx's.

Ortac describes his creative process as closing his eyes to imagine himself on stage with a live band playing towards a crowd of electronic music lovers. Bringing two great worlds together. 

He recently collaborated with talented producers @gunceaci and @javiermartinezmx and worked on remixes for incredible producers like @backfromthewave, @gunceaci, @javier_busto, @from_beyond, and @funboys. He is looking forward to meet his fans and perform live in another club or festival soon.

Kaboom! The weekend is upon us so we want to bluster right in with a big mix to break down the week, brick by brick. We arranged just the perfect artist to take care of that: Velax (@iamvelax).
