Eónika (stylised éonika) is a Mexican musician who is known for his future garage, wave and experimental productions. He has, with success, released various songs that have captured people because of their deeply emotional themes and beautiful composition. He now joins the TLILTIC Records family, and we are very happy to have him onboard.

The word ‘Saudade’ comes from a profound impassioned state of nostalgic or intense melancholic yearning for something or someone that one cares and loves. It also comes with the feeling that the object or person won’t be had again. Eónika’s marvelous creation represents this using pianos that resemble downtempo lo fi music, a very sorrowful guitar and vocals that portray one's deepest feelings.

About ‘Air EP’ Melina Blanco says: I made Air between March and June 2021, for a long time I have been very interested in experimenting with sounds that reflect the idea of ​​making music that is subtle and in a certain minimalist way. Since I started producing music, my way of creating something almost always starts with finding an atmosphere that I like and from that, I add more elements and create the structure. In a certain way, I perceive Air as an intention of wanting to continue experimenting with the type of music I did for my previous EP, Éter. During the creation of Air, I thought of open spaces and nature mainly.

When we look at the time that has passed, we feel hurt, happy, terrified, adventurous, nostalgic, hopeful, lost, illustrated, wayward. Sometimes even content or petrified. It is time which makes us move, it traps us and it releases us. Sometimes we want to experience it again and other times we are just peaceful with what happened, and we just leave it right there, in that little, but grand space in our minds.  ‘Time’ is a song to think about your time and the time of existence, to feel wistful, but not regretful, to accept what has happened in time, what developed, even to accept what transpired when we uttered the words ‘it was about time’. We should never ask ourselves if it is better to control time or to let it be free. It is not our place to question its nature. Composed by Aiokai in 2020, this song is for everyone, but also just for yourself. Using a UK garage beat, with the ambiences and textures of future garage, it all falls perfectly with the groove and with the bassline’s consonance.

Antonio Lobato AKA Godobolo is a DJ/Producer from San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico.
