To Lift This Curse (formerly As Twilight Burns) is an American Metalcore/Thrashcore band based out of Dallas,Tx. Originally founded in late 2012, After a long hiatus, in January 2014 with Bryson's return to Dallas, the band reformed and announced a new line up; Including Leif Ringstad taking over as lead guitarist as and the addition of Clayton Aeschliman on drums.

As of late summer 2014 Scotty Cursed left the band due to creative differances, moving Chad to guitar, thus opening new doors creating new possibilities.

After all of this, due partially to the member changes and more largely based on a change in direction both musically and philosophically, we as a band have now been reborn as To Lift This Curse and we are approaching this as an epic reset, coming at it with renewed vigor, vision, and excitement for what the future has in store.

"To Lift This Curse" is a moniker derived from the overwhelming philosophy and sentiment that resonates with every single member of TLTC. Our belief is this, Music is our driving passion, 'our curse'. And our destiny, only thing we can do "to lift this curse" is to pursue our passion with every fiber of our beings.
