In a desperate attempt to regain his sanity, Squidward travels through files searching for an ancient existence in which space and time still had meaning. After his quest for nostalgia proves itself pointless he finds himself in the deepest unknown paths of the chrome-colored system and, inevitably, he succumbs to his own pain. A cyber-psychoative malware seizes this opportunity to invade Squidward's virtual mind, making him delirate an utopic hideout in which all colors come back to life and blend into the figure of Gary. Voices wouldn't come out, and imagery and melody coexisted into a slow post-existence dance which seemed as nigh and as distant to reality as anything could possibly seem. Things felt okay for a moment there, albeit his sanity would soon come back and throw a desolated Squidward back into his chrome-colored hell.
