In 2022, it’s hard to define musicians by genre: people are blurring the boundaries more every day, and that’s how Anish likes it. He explains to Emerald, when asked to sum up his sound, “I’m really trying to not say house or disco or techno but it’s somewhere in there…”

In fact, what matters most to Anish Kumar is the feelings these songs evoke: “I really quite like euphoric moments and moments that hit you in the gut”, he tells us in episode 3 “I try to make them the focal points in my tracks”.
