Romania is a collection of 15 Analog drum breaks, including over 140 + 1 shots of Kicks, Snares, Hi Hats, Congas, Bongos, Cymbals, and Percussions. Heavily inspired by the most rare Romanian Fusion, Progressive Rock & Psychedelic tones & rhythms of the early to mid 70's. Recorded and processed thru tons of analog tube gear, vintage mics, natural room reverbs, EMT 140 plate, RE201 and tape machines to give each break the characteristic and texture of an obscure Eastern European record. These are the perfect breaks for any sound designer looking to get inspired by to write chords or find melodies outside the tradition 4/4 metronome clicker. Each break has its own distinct texture, character, swing, multiple fills and ghost notes to keep every break not sounding repetitive. The Modern Odyssey is a collection of 11 analog loops that were processed, chopped & manipulated in a modern context that gives immediate inspiration and makes it easy for any producer to just drop in any DAW and start cookin up. This has been my favorite series on the library thus far because it gives me the freedom to take exclusive Jazz, Gospel, Soul or R&B compositions I've made in the past and explore new ways of processing & manipulating them in ways that create unique tones, pitches and rhythms that can't be achieved thru analog equipment. At it's root every sample was recorded thru all my analog equipment that has grown over the years with vintage keyboards like the Rhodes Chroma, Memory Moog, ARP Solina, Fender Rhodes, Hammond B3, Pianos, vintage guitar amps, live vocals, mics including the Sony C37a, RCA Bx44, U47 Fet, EMT Reverb Plate, Ampex 440b + tons more.
