Clean, heavy, and pure in sonic integrity, a standard that finds his music an impeccable match to the high calibre exports of UA, ‘I Feel Sick’ is devastatingly modern and occupies hands down enamorous qualities to please everyone from the sweaty raver to the pickiest of bass music connoisseurs, and leave nobody in between.
‘I Feel Sick’ emerges as a stomp worthy ode to the sound system, backed by a wall of sub-tickling low end fit to cherish the friend and dominate the foe. Lined with ever so subtle and whirling highlights, it lays low enough that we really savour the assertive vocal shots that burst through it’s murky grip.
Embracing an infectious filth to serious-face ratio, ‘Who Dunnit’ is a question that it’s namesake answers with the full, unafflicted truth. Grinding reese lines sanctify the towering and ebullient hook reminiscent of some of the producer’s earlier releases, but with a new presence, a gritty and smirking edge that is older, smarter and wiser.
Following with a familiarly emphatic persona, ‘Wig’ simply demands our attention, with no questions asked, and delivers justly. With a semblance of future bass done right, the hat-friendly anthem melts from it’s lead-weighted core, shattering into tiny accents that dust us with a welcome and lingering sonance.
