Texas Noise Factory are a duo consisting of Daniel Taylor and Colin Travis. With an array of hardware synths, they produce mainly long, spacious tracks of various kinds of electronic music, often with an experimental bent.  Occasionally, they venture into harsh noise. They write, perform, and produce all of their music themselves. They originally started producing music together under the name Texas Noise Factory in 1999. 

Daniel Taylor has released some solo work as Genuine Fraud. Colin Travis (also djalone, djmmj) has been active collaborating with others under the names Supavillain, Wifi Trio, Dethkultur BBQ, and Yellow Journalism.
