The Future of Music... T.N.G. [The Next Generation] are a new six-man music outfit of British-born Jamaicans hailing from the South West of the UK. Their musical sensibility fountains from their roots and culture, the next generation of artists to come from the 'Windrush era', but they are not afraid to take on board any influence from the diaspora wherever in the world it might come from. They write their own song and rap lyrics, produce their own beats, occasionally working with fellow musicians, the Tier 5 production group. Between them they play guitar, bass, piano, drums and programme on a range of software to build their unique sound. They create their own brand of 'Electro Hip-Pop', which manifests itself in a variety of genres but can generally be descried as RNB, Reggae and Rap. But whatever they make, you can be sure they will always apply a healthy dose of their own special sense of lyricism.
