In the courtyard, Geralt is faced by a beautiful young woman named Vereena, unfortunately Vereena turns out to be a Bruxxa, responsible for the murders! Geralt is on the defensive as the creature is much faster than him, he is in the fight for his life! Out of nowhere Nivellen moves to distract her, Vereena is determined to take Nivellen down with her. Geralt slays Vereena, but her act of love, mixed with her blood finally lifts Nivellen's curse, he is now a man again.
