Awoken from night to find the sunshine’s glow. 
Its light caresses the dark, but it’s warmth is no more. 
I see reflection of self, But have the good times gone then?
They are always too much, and I end up back down.
Who’s wrong and who’s right? As if that all matters now.
An alliance was formed while my defenses were down.

Have I gave up? Have I been defeated?
Have I gave up? Have I been defeated, wasted so much, just staring at the ceiling.

I thought I had time on my side. Oh how quick things go.
When you are wanting it all, and their best is almost.
Once vibrant light rays are now one solid sheet of grey
Now with my age, I feel everything fade, 
from memory’s and thoughts, are now forgotten times and place
The battle is lost where i was once firmly held my place.

That ego will weigh you down, your arrogance so profound 
it will all come crashing down, when your higher level has fallen 
I’m following up on you, and watching all that you do.
Many details have slipped your mind , cause now it’s so easily brought down
(And we) Take it down,(constructively) break it down,(dismantling) piece by piece.  As you feel it starting to crumble   
(And then we) take you down, (deliberately) break u down, (Till eventually) one more gone. As your whole world has fallen

I’m wondering what you’ll find, when falling a step behind
insanity spreading throughout your mind, and all your truths misspoken
waiting patiently here for you, and there’s nothing that you can do
along debt will soon be paid, now all your pieces are broken
