Since 2004 he also curates his own imprint, Enemy Records, based in Minneapolis, U.S. In his own words: „A black sheep. Too purist for the club kids, but not pure enough for the purists.“

Besides touring the world over, Cisco also leads his own imprint Kombination Research.

„Emotional intelligenter Techno“, so beschreibt Ninette selbst ihren einzigartigen Sound. Doch was oder wer steckt noch hinter diesem besonderen französischen Namen?
Blickt man zurück auf die Entstehung der elektronischen Tanzmusik, führt die Reise über viele Orte und Stationen. Letztlich landet man aber doch am Geburtsort der Undergroundkultur Berlin. Auch heute bildet die Stadt das kreative Umfeld vieler namhafter Künstler und Akteure der Technoszene.
Inspiriert durch diese Symbiose, begann eine 19-jährige ihren Traum zu Leben. Im Jahr 2009 wurde die Szene um eine talentierte Künstlerin bereichert und Ninette begann ihre musikalische Laufbahn. Damals wusste weder sie noch sonst irgendjemand, wo diese hinführen würde. Doch die Liebe und Leidenschaft, die sie in der Musik fand und ausdrückt, wurden zu Ihrem Wegbereiter. Seitdem ist viel passiert. Ninette reifte zu einer national sowie international gefragten Künstlerin, die sich mit ihrer Musik und Persönlichkeit schnell in die Herzen vieler Crowds gespielt hat.
Bis Ende 2014 durfte sie die Foreplay“ im legendären Tresor Berlin ihr musikalisches Zuhause nennen und präsentierte sich regelmäßig einem Publikum aus aller Welt. Aber auch andere namhafte Clubs in Deutschland, Italien, Österreich und der Schweiz zählen mittlerweile zu Ihren Referenzen. Hierzu gehören der Arena Club, Kosmonaut und die Magdalena in Berlin oder der Baalsaal und das Fundbureau in Hamburg, um nur einige zu nennen. Jedoch reicht ihr das reine Auflegen schon lange nicht mehr, sie will mitgestallten und die Szene vielfältig bereichern.
Darum ist sie mittlerweile federführend bei zahlreichen Events und auch der Austausch mit anderen Künstlern und Produzenten gewinnt zunehmend an Bedeutung.

This week´s #AMFM show is the third and last hour of the set that I played at the @Great Wall Festival in Beijing China. This gig was the third in a row of my little Asia tour in May, which also brought me to Seoul and Tokyo the nights before. Great nights, and because of that and our flight schedule, we arrived in China with very little sleep. But who needs sleep when you have the Great Wall to visit. Our amazing host Yucheng took us to visit the wall prior to my gig at the festival, and this little sightseeing tour was quite fantastic. As we arrived at the festival, Carl Craig played a banging set on quite a stage that was designed in a historical fashion with an army of Chinese clay soldiers standing left and right and a DJ booth that was set in an old horse carriage. Now imagine all this, set right in front of beautiful mountains with parts of the Great Wall of China as a backdrop. Honing her skills as DJ in Birmingham since the late 90s, Rebekah's hard work and pursuit of music has led her to reach a level representative of many DJs at the top of their game. She's become a colossal presence within techno the last five years, with her formidable sets and relentless sound capturing the hearts of four-by-four lovers looking for BPMs in the upper echelon of the genre. As a producer, she's asserted herself with countless releases since her first 12-inch in 2004, putting out heavy hitter after heavy hitter on labels such as Cult Figures, CLR, Soma Records and more recently Mord. Her debut album from last year Fear Paralysis showed a welcome constraint to her sound, describing the LP as a labour of love in times of uncertainty, and using that to explore elements to her music more thoroughly, and with more depth.

Now based in Berlin, she's found a close friendship with fellow local Paula Temple, sharing a similar outlook to techno and taking it to the stage together for a series of b2b shows and tour dates that now seem more regular than ever. We caught up with Rebekah to talk about the Elements project she runs with Dark Chamber and Jay Sirrett, discovering techno producers from New Dehli, and working with artist Malika Maria for her audio visual work. Her Truancy Volume, which she describes as a mix of old and new discoveries, is an hour long excursion of exhilarating, warehouse techno that's she's now known for championing.
