Sahsa recorded the songs of the album when the world was closed in isolation. " All the tracks express my mood at that moment, basically, they were composed in one breath, I caught their rhythm, fast rhythm, I wanted something fast, not to stop and at the same time, to be far from everyone and I think with me, it worked, and you will hear it in my tracks, my first full-length album."

During times where sweaty dance floor grooves seem like a distant dream, the team here at The Only 1 is proud to announce TO1 Radio. This, will be our platform for sharing all things groove related. For our first project – the Wa’gwaan invite series – we’ll be showcasing weekly mixes from some of your favourite and soon to be new favourite techno, trap and hip-hop DJs. What we intend to do with this project is to bring you the dance floor to you wherever you are so that we can all divulge together into the amazing talent that is still brewing in Johannesburg and South Africa as a whole. And this is only the beginning. TO1 Radio will also be creating a discussion podcast series where we aim to shed some light onto Joburg’s ever-evolving electronic music scene. So you can look forward to interviews from some of your favourite groove legends and industry orchestrators to get the lowdown on everything. And by everything we mean everything, from your favourite front left moments, to your to posties chats that seemed to make sense, to your favourite artists and where they started. The TO1 Team hopes to create a dynamic space for you, the dancers, to stay connected and involved, and to find out what you have to say about the scene we all love and miss.
