I wish Red Tape was more like this tbh. Red Tape felt a bit to upbeat for what is supposed to be one of the more depressing Aftergores and in general I actually prefer this song over Red Tape, despite this one being so much shorter.

Political and civil unrest has torn the Underground asunder, Humans-- and anyone who isn't adamantly opposed to them-- are to be treated as bitter enemies.

A vengeful Sans takes the role of Undyne. He's done slacking off. The Underground has lost too much, including a very cool skeleton that Sans was very close to. Best not get in his way. Then again, you don't need to.
He'll find you himself.

She's even nabbed a little bit of Metal Crusher from Mettaton here...because there's a new killer robot in town. And when this one says "killer," she means it.

Mad Dummy takes the role of Mettaton (yes, Mad Dummy. Unfortunately they never found their Mew Mew body in this ending :(). In the absence of anyone else taking on the position, they rise unopposed to the rank of the Underground's new celebrity. It doesn't make for great television, but at this point a desperate public will take anything. Plus, thanks to President Theodore, being angry is very "in" right now.

[Aftergore IV] The Meaning Of Justice

Aftergore is a series of AUs taking place after Undertale's neutral endings, in which a new human enters in Frisk's wake.
Aftergore CDIV, the Impossible/Dirty Hacker ending, details an ending in which a curious player messes with code to make a certain boss both dead and alive at the same time. The results are...illogical. Humans are to be treated as threats to the timeline above all else, and that is a crime punishable by death.
If you're curious on the AU name, all the Aftergores are numbered with Roman numerals. "CDIV" translates to "404."

Aftergore VIII, the Leaderless ending, details an ending in which Frisk killed everyone they encountered. Theodore, known to some as "Politics Bear," takes the role of Asgore. He took advantage of the Underground's unrest and started preaching to them about the human menace, turning the populist masses against humanity as the end-all-be-all enemy. Many monsters see him as the kind of strong leader the Underground has always needed, but the man behind the mantras may not be as brave and powerful as everyone thinks he is.

Aftergore V, the King Mettaton ending, details an ending in which Asgore, Toriel, and Undyne are all slain, leaving Mettaton next in line for the throne. He's turned the Underground into an aesthetic corporate dystopian paradise. Humans are to be invited to join his Fan Club. And if they reject it, they die.

Catty takes the role of Papyrus. It’s been a few years, but she’s still a die-hard MTT stan. She and Bratty are the heads of the King Mettaton Fan Club, but since they’re older than most of the other members, people treat them differently. Catty gets made fun of a lot. Teens say she’s out of fashion or uncool. But she does her best to ignore it, focus on living her best life, and do what really matters: devoting an unhealthy amount of time and energy to Mettaton. Like every model citizen should do!

Aftergore VI, the King Papyrus ending, details an ending in which Frisk killed everyone possible, except for Papyrus. Papyrus is the Underground's royal figurehead, while Flowey and Sans are the brains behind the operation, fighting for control over the kingdom. Humans are to be greeted with puzzles, whether they're good or evil. At least that's Papyrus's policy. The rest of monsterkind isn't too keen on treating humans so nicely, for obvious reasons.

Papyrus takes the role of Asgore. Even though Sans is doing most of the heavy lifting in terms of ruling, the pressure of royalty is still really getting to Papyrus. His kingdom is in shambles, his people do not listen, his brother is worse off than ever, and his royal advisor is being increasingly blatant about his megalomania. He strives to keep up hope, but even for the Great Papyrus, that's quite a task.
