So here's our true MAR10 special this year. Not an update to STAR POWER, but a Bergen + ASGORE for a different Mario character.

"Smashtale" or any SSB x UT thing is a concept I have a complicated history with, as some of you know. I wasn't really intending this concept to have anything more made for it, but Toadie really wanted to do this so I figured it would at least fit the occasion. Bowser takes the role of Asgore here.
Before you say something along the lines of "should've used [insert motif here]" I should mention that S:LO's challenge is to only use songs/motifs that appear on the SSBU soundtrack. So for this we tried to use the songs on the soundtrack that relate the most to Bowser himself. Yes, it's true that Undertoad (and probably some other smaller Mario AUs) have Bowser in the role of Asgore, but I'd say this handles it pretty differently, considering he transforms back and forth between his normal form and Giga Bowser, and of course his struggle to break free from the puppetry of Master Hand and Crazy Hand.

We weren't gonna do any updates to pre-existing songs for the sendoff series, but Toadie wanted to do an update to Finemundi, one of the AU's most popular tracks. So here we are. This is the second anniversary of the original Finemundi coming out, so it's actually perfect. We hope you enjoy. And don't worry, if you prefer the original, I'll make sure that can be listened to somewhere in some capacity.

Community is a great show and you all should watch it.
It's one of my favorite shows ever, and once Toadie finally saw it, it became one of theirs too. So naturally just like everything in my life I found something I liked and turned it into an Undertale AU. Updates will be infrequent but they'll happen-- Toadie and I would love to make this into a thing.
It also has a real banger of a theme song.

Toadie and I collabed on the logo! I think it came out quite nicely. Simplistic, but good!

Side note: Toadie fucking INSISTS that I should have called this Greentale. The only compromise we could reach is that I had to admit that in the description.
