The Surface of Summer is an IRL self-insert about a bunch of creative people who went to summer camp together getting trapped in a book they wrote.
The role of Mettaton is taken by Zach, also known by WhyDo (short for Why Do Bad Things Happen To Good People). He's earned his Mettaton spot by being by far the most famous person in the cast. His YouTube channel has over 25 thousand subs! I gave him this role back when he was just called "Zach Games Doing," and he at a significantly smaller number. I was one of his first subscribers. I haven't actually gotten to speak to him in quite some time. Makes me feel special knowing I knew a semi-famous YouTuber before he got big tho, lol.

Fanontale is an AU that takes inspiration from Undertale fanon perceptions by using it to influence the roles the beloved characters take, as well as manifesting in-universe, affecting the characters and their stories.
This is not an Undertale AU about "What if Undertale fanon was good", but rather one that seeks to answer the question of "what if fanon perceptions had direct consequences for the lives these characters live?"

Frisk takes Toriel's role. They've painstackingly remodeled the old house at the edge of the Community Gardens into something reminiscent of the surface. They like their new life, but sometimes they can't help but miss the things they took for granted. The blue skies, the breeze flowing through your hair, the sun gently shining upon your skin... They couldn't recreate it all, but it still evokes a calming atmosphere to them. And hopefully, to Chara as well.

The Home (Music Box) actually uses the Fallen Down replacement! Get shocked and awed! And Hopeless didn't do this first!

This is sort of the Fallen Down (Reprise) version of They're Here, since the actual reprise doesn't use that. It's a reference to https://deltarune.com/results, which Hopeless ALSO didn't do first. This one's sorta just a collection of motifs, but that's kinda what Woody Theory is, just a collection of themes and speculations all tied together in loose strings. But the strings in this song are tighter than you can comprehend, driving home the horror of battling the possessed cowboy that is our Old Pal. A perfect blend of terror and nostalgia will you just as conflicted, and might even get in your head as well.
