RDA Takeover - QRTR live @ Dirtybird CampInn 2022

Over the last few months I have been working hard with my bestie Liz to create a new DNB-focused DJ duo project. While Toastercookie has always been a multi-genre DJ, I've been wanting a bit of a clean slate and to be able to build up something a little more specific. It turns out Liz and my taste in DNB is very similar and we had so much fun jamming together that we decided we should make it official and launch a side project. Introducing: Algorithmix! 
Our sound is deep, sultry, jazzy, and groovy, with sub-bass that rattles your soul. We have an ear for great rhythms and melodies and aim to bring the funk back to DNB! I hope y'all enjoy this one hour demo mix showcasing the range of sounds we enjoy playing ☺️

I can't remember where or when I first heard one of his mixes but I do know that since that first mixtape, he has been one of my absolute favorite dj's. Scriven Dub, the half-time tune that made Diffrent Music HQ notice this Italian London-based producer many moons ago, gets the VIP treatment sliding it into a more dance floor friendly territory with its incessant rolling percussions as well as packing a seriously heavy bottom-end punch throughout the whole track. 
The incredible talent of Hobzee (one half of Silent Dust, with releases on 31 Records, Warm Communications and more) takes care of remix duties for Caucciù on the flip side, turning the minimal stripped-back original tune into a full-on steppa number featuring a solid rhythmic drive and finely placed bass stabs, all with a pinch of old school feel to it.
This 13th release on Mauoq Music brings two prime slabs of contemporary speed funk, stepping up the pace and energy from previous releases whilst keeping true to the deep and dubby signature traits of the label’s discography.
