we champion the cause of gods
to hide from the pain of human betrayals.
we claim control of our own lives, 
then proceed to fuck them up with style.
over, and over again, demonstrating a brilliant talent for immaturity
and an extreme lack of for sight.

but we believe we stand strong against "negative energy."
we boast proudly of our stubborn human nature.
blinded by justice, we become the ultimate paradox in hypocritical idealism. 
we hide our secret satisfaction in seeing others fail with cheap praise.

i burned my last bible, started wars among the pagans.
