The Flying Lodge, which initially took the form of an episodic sound theatre of sorts; arrives at its conclusion with the release of Flying Lodge: All Stars - a compilation where a whirlwind of various sound narratives conjoin towards a celebration of queerness and ephemeral unity.

Within this compilation, GOLCE arranges into formation a playful prelude to clubbing, which is then followed by the jarring spearhead noise of Rosaceae, a hardcore disassembly of song structure. 

Tina DJ on the other hand creates a mechanized fictional landscape whose movements correspond to respective melodies, Semka follows suit and strips that correspondence down to abstraction.  

The finesse of PRICE which leads gracefully into a refined and ritualized romance is followed up by the drowned-out poetry of Ivye, expressed through an intimate recollection of isolated vocals and broken down rhythms.
Lastly the enmeshed vocals of Yesh, carry out a symphonic epilogue, heavied with R&B lyricism.

All Stars finds continuity in its doing and undoing of narrative; through creation and negation - it illustrates the aesthetic unity to be found in such unlikely timings as well as the invisible ties that bind us to one another.

Julia Louise KnifeFist is a 22-yo producer and lyricist based in Dublin, Ireland which has been active since the late 2010s. Their music is a dense, noise-imbued manipulation of dance music styles that are beaten to a pulp to form bloody pools of distorted kicks, overwhelming feedback, and truculent vocals. In the recent past, they started investing effort into the newborn, thriving Irish collective called Bitten Twice, focused on promoting experimental rave outputs and unconventional sounds. When it comes to their solo work, JLK is reportedly out to turn the listener's insides on the outside, and they do that via an exciting mixture of genres taking shape in something that could be aptly referred to as "rave rap", as nicely demonstrated in their first live appearance https://youtu.be/uYI-rjVlV7I.

Late last year, JLK's path met with the Ghent-based record label lieftuig, closely related to the Belgian Grid crew, on which young artists such as Moses, Neocitrus, and Knechtjong already appeared over the course of the past months. INERTIA EP is the final outing stemming from the encounter and the following interactions between the two parts: a four-tracker record, spanning just a little over 11 minutes, where JLK's harsh vocal style and energetic production skills join with the vision of three other producers (namely Circular Square, who also curated the mastering of the release, and the aforementioned Neocitrus and Knechtjong).

With INERTIA EP, JLK's variegated and unrestrained creative drive, already crystallized in previous singles such as 328, Synthetic Drip, and Bite Marks, brought them to the next level of inspiration, where chaos is unleashed by means of high-spirited, inflamed compositions, and catharsis is reached via entrancing rhythms. Today, we're glad to be premiering the second track in the lotto, called Pixelated Dreams, and produced by Circular Square who also curated the video clip due next month together with Aisling Phelan.

When asked about the track, JLK refers that Pixelated Dreams is a "frustrated response to the idea of digitizing the human experience", as they believe "many parts of the experience can’t be recreated, and the advancement of technology in this way feels absurd when unsustainable structures might make the planet uninhabitable and any human experience impossible". Inspired by early dubstep and grime, the piece is a 150-second impressive run on which the bassline and the syncopated drums intertwine with the vocals, chanting detached lyrics that reflect on the feelings of rage, isolation, and disconnection ("Feeling Love and disgust / Spit and dirt in an open cut / Thousand miles between my blade and they neck / I’m dying to connect / All I see is pixelated dreams"). We're sure you'll be thrilled to stream the track via the player here below, as well as the entire EP that will be out on August 6th. Angel-Ho the Musician and Creative Director have created a third album titled ‘A Time To Die’. The album is an entendre for the depression of covid-19 not being able to perform and living in survival as an artist while the other meaning to the artist is making the moment a celebration as 
a time to gag at their abstract take on Club & Pop music. Having created Death Becomes Her in 2019, a more political statement using their vocals as a means in her quest to dislodge gender binaries and power hierarchies, Angel-Ho challenges this even further to make disruption in the perceptions of doubt on their artistry. 
Angel-Ho puts in what they enjoy most listening to bird sounds and is inspired by their pitch change as an influence by nature, in hopes of making peace in her music and mind. She has pushed herself into unfamiliar territory distorting the genres to find resolution in music production. Having taken a year to collaborate with producers she found herself trading her authenticity and feeling somewhat far removed from the body of the music, to simply lay vocals over a beat was not enough for her direction. Edited Arts is launching ‘Endorphins’, the first in a new series of charity compilations. Endorphins features contributions by Cassius Select, Ccontrary, DJ TESS, Emily Glass, furious styles, Hard Fantasy, Jaeho Hwang, Jasper Jarvis, Lighght, d0us, Shelley Parker and terribilis.

‘Endorphins’ is a compilation of pre and post cathartic visions & sounds. Embodying the alleviating potential of club music, 12 artists have made sonic references to the happy hormone that acts to relieve pain. Vigorous drums, shy wubs, disobedient trance, lifting breaks, and reclining interludes work towards the unrestrained mindset of this collection. This is the first release from a series that recreates psycho-sensory states of happiness, or the lack thereof.

Profits from this release will go to Black Minds Matter and Drake Music.

object blue makes a theatrical return to TT with a new audio-visual EP Grotto. Released on Friday 5th March, this 5-track EP follows the release of her breakthrough debut 'Do you plan to end a siege?' in 2018 on the label.

Characterized by fleshy synths and drawing on the fantastical, blue’s pinpoint percussion guides listeners through scenes of both lushness and macabre. Opening track ‘ Opened Close ’ creases its anthemic synth line in on itself, hinting at a hedonic visitation that never comes to be. ‘ Fugitive’s Focus’ orchestral summons follows, with bass-heavy rhythmic patterns assuring us of the gravity of the moment. Now is
not the time to flee.

As the squeeze gives way to the cavern, ‘ Exorcism of a self-help book’s’ disarranged messages scratch their way towards the light. Fairytale echoes of the rave punctuate claggy walls with smooth, lush moss. Its droplets shiver through thundering bass and crystallised clicks in ‘ Procession Of Healers’ as chaotic whimsy persists abound. The final track ‘ Closed Open’ comes upon a vocal apparition whose lamentation
arrives in loops and coils. The work’s undeniable presence leaves listeners both held and shaken; with unspoken knowledge thrown into spectral relief.

Grotto is released via TT on Friday 5th March.
