Here is  "The Drifter"
A collaboration between Dairv Dubbleyew, Jimmy Rivas and myself.
As I was out at sea with my boat earlier this summer a fast was boat heading against me, it was the police.
 They stopped me and asked me  if I had been drifting?
 I usually  turn of the engine to let the boat go drifting while fishing
So now I want to thank the police for giving me the title of the song
  I am The Drifter. SOS
Jimmy did the lyrics and also his awesome vocals
Dave added  his brilliant guitars . Beside he did the production with mixing and mastering

I had the great privelege to work on  this song written by  James Rivas.
Hopefully we managed to let our influencences  stay in the spirit of his original ideas

I cast my eyes once again on this recording we did some years ago, a little experimental
Its all recorded live except  a little synth added later on.
 to get the powerful guitar sound Oddvar used a bottleneck and a octave doubler
We just started playing and it turned out to be  looong 6.20. But since it is a live recording I want to keep it as it is.

It`s been a privilege making this song with Oddrun and Dairv.

The result of this collaboration is bigger than I could wish for.
When I wrote the instrumental for the song I had a vision of life reaching for the light, like  dew in the early morning`s  that makes life sprout
With Emely`s poem, Oddrun`s crystal clear warm voice and Dairv`s intense guitar we are right where we want to be.

Welcome to the circus. . Well...this is very different from what I use to play. 
I got the idea to borrow parts of the lyrics from The Beatles song Piggies ( George Harrison)
A oblique glance on greedy people
nothing serious about this, just for fun.
But...I`m using my own composition for the occasion
You could call it a sarcastic song but with a sense of humour

Farewell (Jimena & Torbjørn)

3 months ago Jimena sent me some dry stems of a sweet little chorus that appeared in her dream at night. She was able to record it, and that  was the magic beginning of this song. Jimena asked me if I wanted to help her make a whole song out of her chorus.

The chorus has some beautiful pure melody lines, and it was a great privelige for me to be trusted working on this song.  I was working hard  trying to find the right expression for the song.
In the proccess found out  it needed  more power, so i contacted John O`Reilly Jr. to help us out with drums, and my son Joachim added some great guitars
