Some time ago I asked Donato to compile the “Rome” edition of the 200th podcast for electronique.it.

His response to this challenge is a techno mix that I can best describe as an intense, intimate and evocative portrait of the reality that is Rome. While drawing on a wide range of source material and inspiration from the past, he constructs a deeply personal mix that is directed towards the future. It is, in a word, epic!

Honoured to play an hour at the Eshu Records Open Source Radio takeover show a few weeks ago at the invitation of musical inspiration, superb DJ, and total don Ivano Tetelepta. We are back with a very special episode for our Exposé series. Not only is it our first episode in the double digits but we also celebrate the birthday of the person behind the mix - Archon.

Born and based in Bulgaria, he is a DJ and producer who has been involved in one way or another in the Bulgarian electronic music scene for more than a decade now. Always eager to explore and find new experiences, he has been entrenched in the local underground. You can find him mostly in TABA Record Store, where he frequently collaborates, and sometimes he can make you a mean rakija sour.

Get ready for a very special one as it only contains music by Archon himself.

The day after our first night at Club Raum, we hosted a listening session at our Amsterdam home base Noord Space to softly land. In an intimate setting, Erik Luebs offered listeners a unique live performance created for this moment. Seated in front of his instruments, Erik made time stop and created communion. This recording captures perfectly what we experienced, and we hope that you will feel it too.
