“I first encountered Cormac about 15 years ago when I was a resident at an after-hours queer party called Yello and he was a regular guest. Many years later we bonded over high energy house and disco. I thought it was a nice touch to pay homage to those times, and there's another tip of the hat to Belfast party starters Ponyhawke who have carried the mantle for diverse and inclusive dancefloors in Belfast here in 2023.  The lead track is a collaboration with a Ukrainian artist, Ready in LED and it had Polari written all over it. Olya is a superstar and I’m very excited to be working with her.”

Ready in LED who has recently released on Polari herself, has made a stellar contribution to Jordan‘s forthcoming EP, she lends her extraordinary vocal prowess to the opening track, "Over & Over," infusing it with captivating strength. Hailing from Toulouse, South West of France, up-and-coming producer @kendal3000 began to draw attention from crowds of online listeners last year with batches of alluring soundcloud contributions. Amongst those to have quickly picked up on the Frenchman's potential, Moustache Records boss @david-vunk quickly sealed the deal and here comes the fruit of their first collaboration, 'Manifesto' EP.

Young firestarter Kendal lands on Dischi Autunno with his second release, a 4-track elevated burner of contemporary dance music with a distinctive, melodic take on 80's and 90's electronic tropes. Opener 'Disturbo' blends prime-time piano riffs with insistent breakbeats and uplifting melody. Inspired by horror legend John Carpenter, 'Intacto' takes us further into the wormhole, late 80's new-wave sensibilities in the punchy low-end refreshed by modern production techniques and a euphoric synth line giving a nod to peak-energy trance state dance music. Heading into the B-side, we're treated to more of Kendal's fine ear for melody and progression with 'Moresko', a meandering tale that allows rhythm and pattern to build and fall away, all the while never losing sight of the release's hallmark uplifting energy. Closing proceedings is the strut and swagger of 'Ritmo Fatale'. Cosmic dancefloor ready, the rolling bassline is beautifully paired with escalating synths and crisp percussion for a hands-in-the-air finale. Across the four tracks Kendal demonstrates a clear ear for the prime-time, discerning dancefloor: ubiquitous and passionate, his sound is sure to find a home on sound systems around the world.
