Splittah is a Mulubinba-based DJ who's been steadily growing his presence in the scene over the past eight years, moving through a variety of sounds before finding his groove in drum and bass. His sets are a high-energy blend of deep rollers, dancefloor heaters, and heavy-hitting rhythms - crafted with intention and a feel for the crowd.

From intimate dancefloors to larger venues, he's had the chance to play at spots like Ivy and Home the Venue in Eora, Argyle House and The Lass in Mulubinba, and The Oxford in Bathurst. Along the way, he's jumped on lineups with crews like Bassaus, Steppers, Heaps Of, Courtyard, House Of Traxx, Uno-Palooza, and Rhythm at Dusk.

He's grateful to shared stages with artists like ShockOne, Calcium, Solomon France, and Slumberjack, and for the opportunity to play a dream set at Fiji's Your Paradise Festival. Whether it's a late-night club set or a festival slot, Splittah focuses on tight selections, solid energy, and letting the music speak for itself.

Apeth is all about deep, dark, and technical drum and bass. A proper bass fiend and regular on the doof circuit, he's always digging for fresh sounds and exploring the heavier, more intricate corners of the genre. His sets are unpredictable but intentional - think minimal techy grooves, psychedelic rollers, and heavy low-end pressure.

Now based in Mulubinba, he's been getting amongst it with crews like Newy Bass Crew, Lowfreq and Resurrect, while still holding it down on the Gold Coast as a co-runner of Shadow Bass - a monthly gathering that keeps it raw, underground, and focused on quality drum and bass with zero fluff. It's a space for both up-and-comers and seasoned heads to throw down and connect.

Apeth's played everything from doofs like Fungal Forest to club nights like PSYDEN, Sub Culture, Trigga Fingaz, and a UK slot with WOBZ. 

Apeth's mix roll through the many sinister flavours he's known for conjuring up. Expect tight mixing, deep cuts, and a proper journey through the heavier side of drum and bass.

Subterra 2025

Hailing from various corners of Aotearoa, we are a collective united by our shared obsession with frequency and vibration, with the goal of pushing a fresh flavor into the New Zealand underground scene. Since 2022, we've been wiggling air through our hand-built paraflex sound system, providing a platform not only for ourselves but also for other artists who share our passion for sound and music. Our events range from local psy and bass nights to international gigs, with our sights set on open-air festival stages in the future.

Artistically, we specialize in blurring the lines between alternative, psychedelic, and modern styles of experimental bass and dance music, while paying homage to the timeless sounds that have been solidified over time. We aim to deliver a sonic experience that some might describe as auditory hedonism, consisting of frequencies focused on emotion, progression, and storytelling, with each selection guided by the energy we receive from the dancefloor.

Our goal is to meticulously design every element of our events and push the boundaries of the modern musical landscape. This involves hand-building each cabinet of our sound system, mastering techniques to fine-tune it for optimal audio performance, creating custom visuals, designing spaces that seamlessly align with the auditory experience, and eventually providing full production DJ sets. By experimenting with the integration of essential elements—space, visuals, and sound—we strive to offer a unique and immersive experience that defines Psymatic Sound. Our approach ensures that each event is not just an occasion but a unique journey.
