This is a series of 4 songs I wrote for "Super Islands" on Battle of the Bits! All four are hardware-authentic SNES chiptunes recorded directly from my Super Famicom, and all but the last track are written using different flavors of just intonation.

The PURE MIDI genre I made up is music using sound modules with little or no effects.
Influenced by the music of MLTEK, I wondered if it would be possible to produce a compilation of such music, and this album is the result.

PURE MIDI Volume 1 XFD

A track about going on an adventure, staying hydrated, and late night Wikipedia binges. 

This track was originally going to be split into two but we decided that it would work better as one track, so it has a big switch up part of the way through which gives it an adventurous vibe. It was initially conceived as two songs but for some reason we still made them in one project file, even at that point, which made the choice to eventually fuse them a lot easier. A lot of hours went into this, so please enjoy the track!!
