Forgiveness

Had fun with some grooves Benoît wrote a few weeks back, trying to come up with riffs that followed the drum patterns. 

Nothing too finished, this is just a collection of riffs without any real progression but this might make it into US album 2, given the proper rework. :)

More Random Riffage

Running Away is a song based on the Flamenco rhythm of Buleria. This is a 12/8 pattern that is in most flamenco music and I love it ;) I wrote it in late 2014 and it's one of my favourite pieces that I have written.
It's played by my new trio with Marc Michel on Drums and Yann Phayphet on Double Bass. They're such great musicians to play with.

The idea was to cover the song but instead of using the original minor scales, I went for the major ones because I thought it would be interesting to hear, thus making the song sound completely different from the original version.
