Never really uploaded anything in a combination 8-bit style & wanted to challenge myself by transcribing a Japanese composition, so I chose to remix Bloody Stream from Jojo and work with some 8-bit instruments for fun~ (ᴖ◡ᴖ) I was inspired from seeing Bloody Stream SFM intros with TF2 characters, and I remembered Heavy had some Jojo reference cosmetics, so I added him to the mix as well, it's more of a Jojo remix with some TF2 remixed lightly in there, but a fun remix nonetheless~ ^-^

The story for this one is, I started with this idea for a TF2 song in 2014 and the idea was a rough and very basic melody in FL Studio along with their spliced words, but I had always really liked this one, so 8 years later I remade it completely. I have a habit of keeping everything I write no matter how simple it is, even if it's just 4 measures long, and often I revisit these WIP's with renewed ideas on how to complete them. I'm hoping I don't take 8 years to release all these WIP's, but I guess it's better then never releasing them (´• ω •`) /

Also as to where I've been, I ended up getting Covid and had been recovering so my upload schedule's a bit off now~ (•o•)/

The Story Behind "Three Shots"

The morning of December 24th brought a clear day. The incessant rain had stopped, and while shooting was still taking place in some parts of the sector, silence had fallen in most areas, interrupted only by shouts from the soldiers facing each other. The first men called out to the enemy that they wanted to retrieve their fallen soldiers. No shots were fired as they walked unarmed into no man's land. After the dead were buried, the soldiers began to speak to each other, primarily in English, as many Germans had learned the language through the proximity to England promoted by the Kaiser, or had even worked in Great Britain.

Contrary to the widespread belief that only ordinary soldiers laid down their weapons in protest because they felt they were being used as "cannon fodder," many officers also participated in the events and, in some cases, even conducted negotiations. One of these officers was Lieutenant Kurt Zehmisch of the 134th Saxon Infantry Regiment, a French and English-speaking teacher from Weischlitz in the Vogtland region. Zehmisch noted in his diary that he had ordered his men not to fire on the enemy during the Christmas holidays. They were to place candles and Christmas trees in the trenches. He further wrote that the British expressed their approval by whistling and clapping, and that he—like most of his comrades—stayed awake all night. The following day, Zehmisch recorded that some British men emerged from their trench with a soccer ball. They kicked it back and forth. The commanding British officer and Zehmisch himself were of the unanimous opinion that all this was unimaginable and incredibly miraculous.

Many commanders, such as the head of the British Expeditionary Force, Sir John French, issued strict disciplinary orders against their own troops. Others, however, viewed the Christmas episode more calmly and were convinced that the war would continue as usual after Christmas. The hierarchies of both warring parties reacted to the events with similar ambivalence.
