If a President was inclined to reinstate the Comstock Act, then they can—all by themselves — by a simple declaration. The Comstock Act is what’s called a “zombie law”: Though long considered unconstitutional or unenforceable, IT WAS NEVER REPEALED!,it could essentially shut down abortion nationwide. That’s why voting for Reproductive Rights matters and it’s incumbent upon voters to vet candidates:  those who wish to reinstate abortion rights in the United States, and those who wish to have a national abortion ban.

“In the US, rats could soon have better birth-control access than women”. This concept stems from the embattled and controversial NY City Mayor Eric Adams (a credibly accused corrupt mayor), and his city council who recently greenlit a pilot project to deploy rodent birth control. Now, to my knowledge, no one asked any nyc rats how they felt about this, but, in the realm of of turn-about is fair play, did anyone ask U.S. people capable of getting pregnant if they wanted to have control over their own bodies? Subsequently, we have always said:  if you want to carry a fetus to term, do. If you wish to terminate that pregnancy — for now, for any reason— you should have the option to do so. It’s your body. It’s your decision.
