Lemons - Pt 074 - Friday Feeling

Recently a colleague of mine took his own life, it's been preying on my mind and when I sat down to write some music this is what came out. I didn't set out to write this for him, but as it developed, it fell into place in my mind.

I wrote it to portray a story of trepidation with pride, building into tension and fear with a sadly discordant end. I can only imagine the feelings of someone in active service, and regardless of my own idealistic beliefs on war and military actions, it's a fucking brave thing to do.

Rest in peace, and to anyone who's struggling - please talk about it, don't suffer in silence.
