As someone who is a crazy fan of SMDrums, it makes me giddy to hear such a cool window to the past!!

Recently I participated in a challenge/contest to produce a Steely Dan Song of my choice.  I chose Deacon Blues because it was in my wifes range.  I originally used midi drums but a good drummer friend, Glennbo, recorded his real drums for me. 

My wife Cheryl is doing most of the singing, however my daughter TaSha sang the 3rd verse.

One of the first songs I wrote and recorded.  It was back in 1965 on my old stereo Ampex tape deck.

It's me singing as well as playing my old Epiphone Sheraton guitar and Thomas organ.  The Bass is the organ pedals.

This is a song I produced back in the early 80s that was written by Denis Shaw and sang by Cheryl Stillwell.

Dreams Never Last That Long

This is my Best Buddy, Dennis Martinson, singing this song.  We recorded this back in the early 1990s when we had a band called "Night Life", and Dennis was the drummer in our little band.  I remastered it today and wanted to get it on SoundCloud.

Dennis and I not only played music on stage, we were fishing buddys as well, I think we must have fished in nearly all the best lakes in Montana, and flyfished while we floated the flathead river a few times.

At any rate, this is my Best Buddy Dennis who succumbed to COVID in 2021.
