Been thinking of you Marty Fox AKA Polongo Sixtysixer since your most recent birthday... brother/homeboy/friend... been missing you. 
     I am wrapping up writing the album "The Preacher" while we wrap recording "The Waystation : Volume One". And today while doing some side work on "Polongo", I felt the urge to sit down and just sing it for ya homie and record it. I wrote it the day you died about the life I lived... and as I wrapped writing it I remember receiving a message to lift you up in prayers because you had just been in and accident... a short time later I learned that you hadn't survived the accident and realized that the song I had written not only described my life, but your too. and so I changed the original title of the song, to "Polongo (Marty's Song)". 
     I don't know how to describe it other than the experience was beyond words, it was as if a heavenly host came into the recording area while I just did this for something to sing to honor you.
    This was done with a single take with my 1997 Guild True American 6 string and a Samson Q7 both run  through my Behrenger ACX1000 and run into a Zoom H4.

Cup Of Grace 2020 - MAIN

Just a spot where I can lay out rough tracks. Usually recorded with a basic mono recorder on my phone... and for some a simple stereo recorder you can get at any music store for about $50-$100
To define what some of the tracks are:
"PUB ANTHEM REWRITE" - in history many people took pub anthems and rewrote them to be sung in churches, it was considered to be some of the most difficult work... to expand my horizons I took that challenge on with some of our modern pub anthems via requests.
