5pm as the sun was setting, the bohemians arose. Taking you through the portal into an evening of wonder and entertainment, we stepped into a world that felt familiar, but strange. The artists, creatives and dancers laughed as their true expression of self was allowed in a safe space for one and all.

Brazen Events is a female and NB led production, and in that honour, I curated this set to be led by that same notion.

Here we go folks - My input to the awesome Shipwrecked Festival 2023. This was played Friday afternoon on the Janky Mermaid. A sweet we nook that offers delicious times. I went for a friendly chunky funky house set that some great classic house tunes. #ifyouknowyouknow.
Thanks Logan and all the team, my heart and respect goes out to you all. I hope to return next year, maybe in the Humming Hut ;-) lol.

After hours of wonderment and lucious audio and visual experience I wondered into the hot sweaty boiler room where I got to play these tunes. I've been playing the music I love for over 20 years across New Zealand, Australia and the UK. Starting off in the vibrant NZ outdoor party scene I played many of the big festivals of the day including the Gathering, Alpine Unity & Destination. More recently I've been a founder of the Tempo Schmempo collective, label and radio crew in London putting on parties and keeping people sane with weekly radio shows. I'm a disciple of the deep mix playing everything around and in between slow disco, deep/tech/italo house, disco, cosmic, afro-tech, techno, breaks and prog. Now back to Aotearoa running regular Tempo Schmempo parties and gigging around the country.
