Reelin' in the Years

Wanted to make something that grooved like "turn down for what?" and came up with something much different.  Meant to create a heavy electronic song and then layered it with live instruments. Ebola was very topical at the time I recorded this and I thought we were all gonna die from it. We may still.

Early 2000's recording with Blake Moore on bass and Dylan Nagle on drums.  We recorded this on a 4 track, live, in my garage.  I overdubbed the "vocal" part when Dylan came by to pick up a copy to submit for us to play musicfest NW.  I love this song because it is so simple, but we play the shit out of it; you can hear us cracking up at the end.  Really miss playing music with these 2 even though it's been over 10 years!!!

Cloned Rat

Recorded live in my garage, in the early 2000's again. Bozuto was the name of our project.  looking back, we practiced a lot and used a dry erase board to write this song; hence the name.  The first part of the song is an homage to Naked City, and then it becomes very Iron Maiden for a very long time.  Blake Moore is playing bass, and killing it on drums is Mike Wyant.

John Rambo is another early 2000's project I played in, but playing drums.  We were a power trio "instru-metal" band.  I recorded this demo on an analog 6 track (weird, I know) with no eq capabilities.  Everything was pre-mixed before hitting "record." Mark Bassett is playing guitar and Jason Coatney on bass.

This is a  tune from my band, Crows Hold Grudges.  I recorded it last month (3/2013). Doug B. wrote these guitar parts and I'm attempting to arrange a song around them.  REtODD: guitars, bass, drums, gibberish/omen vocals.

I play guitar, drums, bass, keys and sing/scream.  I have a home studio and take way too long recording solo projects.  For over 15 years, I played music in Portland OR with a multitude of musicians, varying in styles from folk to funk to death metal. 
For the last 10 years I’ve lived on the Oregon Coast and now in Eastern Oregon where I struggle to find the time to play and record.
