And, hopefully not Re-posted by spambots several times, this time around! Aggh. Even though I muted them, I decided to delete that track. Here's this track. And it's a bit better, anyhow.

I tried playing in standard, and it was fun. I'm putting it in the alternate tuning set because it's alternate to me, at this point : ) Also, it starts with a drum solo.

Pineapple - (A Return to E-A-D-G-B-E)

Ok so I sampled a Texas Instruments Speak & Spell & took the letters F-W-O-N-K (taking the brief to use the work Fwonk as your inspiration literally!) After deciding the intro I fell naturally (or maybe un-naturally) into a pretty dark sounding bassline coupled with lo-fi textured synth. My original idea stemmed from using the sampled letters to create the drum beat, which you will hear on the latter part of the track. I figured the Cauldron would be a good forum to try and experiment outside of my normal 'releases', I particularly enjoyed having set parameters to work to for this project, it made me more focused & determined to finish! The ebb and flow of this piece is meant to portray the final few minutes of breathing from an old man on his deathbed!

Yeah, I know... uplifting! 

It was written for the final scene of a play and the whole piece was developed from one simple melodic motif.

It uses just one brilliant patch for Camel Audio's 'Alchemy' sample-based synthesizer - sound designer Simon Stockhausen.

Last Few Breaths Of Life

Not quite arranged, yet, but formerly arranged when it was released whenever that was a long long long long time ago, this version being quite different. Music/Lyrics by and performed/tracked by J. Lemont.

(update) photograph - some clouds. Hell ya, clouds, yah. Except, I replaced those clouds with these wonderful clouds from spring training in AZ, last year, where I regrettably will not be going this season.

Although, It could be not quite Eb. But, a big open Major 7th chord is apparently like a ball of yarn for me, if this were me being a cat and not reality. That is what I meant by "condensed version." It is actually much, much lengthier. If anyone here tries it, just remember to stop playing at some point just so you know where you are. Fun. This headache I have might be related to that, though, so probably not 100% fun depending on proximity to the process of playing.
