Number One first surfaced on his solo debut ’96 Noid release. It gained widespread support in the clubs and went on to be featured on both DFP’s De-Luxe House Of Funk and Groove Armada’s Back To Mine compilations as well as his own Mangled LP.
Look Into My Eyes is a blissed out Balearic gem that featured on the B side of Ray’s ’10 DFA release and instantly became a firm favourite for many.

It includes the sunniest grooves you’ve heard this year. ’Shir Khan Presents Black Jukebox Disco Jam 01’ is a soundsystem-ready disco-house jam which tickles the subwoofers beautifully and seems purpose built for eyes-wide-shut Summer terrace play in big outdoor spaces. Black Jukebox is traversing the wide spectrum of ‘dancefloor’ music.  There’s much to excite: All four tracks are built for rooftop parties with the deep V crew.
From slo-mo housed up boogie-soul, to a loft-party future classic, to a feel-good, sun-blushed, druggy, late night electric jam, to main room filtered disco house and subbass-bugged R&B…it’s all there.  It’s no wonder the Black Jukebox Vinyl series became buy-on-sight and quick to disappear. Originally released in 1980 ,Raja Zahr's "Drum Sequence" is a 'get crazy', experimental disco monster, utilizing Middle Eastern percussion and analog synthesisers, so mind boggling they would keep any dancefloor begging for more. And there is more. Two additional tracks of Lebanese percussion madness by Raja make this an essential triple banger previously known only to serious collectors with cash to burn. Meticulously remastered for club use and approved by Mr Zahr himself.

Demonstrating Aeroplane’s typically flawless attention to detail and Tawatha Agee’s rich RnB tones, the timeless and soul-drenched ‘Love On Hold’ saw its digital release early in 2017 followed by a 12”. The next natural step was a remix package and who better to do the honours than a disco edit maestro and a world-class alumna at the school of funk.

Not a newcomer to dance music but a fresh face on the disco scene, Birdee wraps his remix powers around ‘Love On Hold’, beefing up the lower levels for a bigger bass impact while still maintaining the pure sweetness of the top line. A Glitterbox resident and all-time favourite of the global disco-loving community, Dimitri From Paris provides a ‘DJ Friendly Re-Touch’, lending itself to disco and funk sets with generous extended instrumental breaks and Tawatha’s vocal in full. Completing the package is Aeroplane’s own ‘Extended Instrumental’, letting the funking bass bridge and sparkling synth stabs do all the talking.
