Underground System returns to Razor-N-Tape with the Looking In EP - a 5-track offering of fresh originals and remixes. Ranging from low-slung balearic grooves, to driving left-field funk and urgent uptempo backbeats, the record is a fine-tuning of the US sound, complete with their signature flute and synth soundscapes, driving percussion, and catchy offbeat vocal hooks. On the B-side, RNT mainstays Nenor and Clive From Accounts take two of the tunes into clubbier territory, with a pair of remixes primed for the dance floor.

We’ve raved about the last Young Edits vinyl release on Foot & Mouth, and Luke Fosky’s exceptionally tasteful reworks of Kate Bush and Arthur Russell have restored a lot of my faith in the “soundcloud edit” as a viable genre. The fun continues here, where Stevie Nick’s vocals get wrapped up in some windswept drum patterns and echoing whistles, feeling faithful to the original but like a whole different beast at the same time.

The Catch were fairly successful in the early to mid 1980s with releases on Metronome and Stiff Records. The two man group featured Chris Whitten and Jonn Savannah who’s responsible for the incredible sax running through “25 Years” If you recognise the sound, then award yourself 10 points and a badge sporting the words “I love Squeeze”. Following their most recent releases that have featured the likes of Jacques Renault, Atjazz and Art Of Tones, new release "Testify/Cant U" from Chicago producer @jamie3too6  and Amsterdam producer @masalo-music dropped last week and also contains two solo tracks from UK born but based in Hanoi producer @Sameed.

Jamie 3:26 provides a cross-Atlantic collaboration with Masalo for the A-side track "Testify" which is a stunning and warm sounding, funky organic house track that is centered around powerful gospel lyrics preaching of pain and strife.
