Todh Teri is back to make us groove with the tenth and final volume of the Deep In India series. A total double whammy of a record – this one happens to be a limited edition double vinyl that includes the best of the Todh Teri’s tracks from the previous volumes. As this alluring series comes to an end, get ready to shake a leg to some dark & dubby tunes one last time.
It all begins with Sampadan 34, a tune that makes you want to close your eyes and get lost in a musical trance with its intricate elements of this melody. This is followed by Sam- padan 35, an iconic tune that takes you down memory lane, bringing back sweet memo- ries of the yesteryears.
Using a historic sample from the 90s Indian cinescape, Todh Teri has added his touch to create Sampadan 36 - a track that you’re sure to get hooked onto. For the grand finale, we have Sampadan 37, which brings in some old-school percussive beats into play that will make your soul come alive.

For listeners who missed out, this final EP of the series also includes a second vinyl which has the best-selected tracks from Vol.1 - Vol.4. Deep In India has been Todh Teri’s heart- felt tribute to the golden age of Indian cinema that has given listeners a fresh perspective on its conventional music. Todh Teri announces the launch of its debut release,with a limited vinyl only edition. Todh Teri is the revival of the golden era in Indian cinema. Its the resurgence of Indian disco, funk & cabaret from the 70s , 80s & 90s. Deep in India Vol.1 goes back to its homegrown roots and gives us three classic gems. Each edit retaining its original flavor & a little something more to take to the dance floor.Todh Teri polishes off each track with a signature groove if its own. Ten seconds into an edit and you are deep in India! In the past, Todh Teri has brought this style of music to Berlin’s clubs like Rummelsbucht & Wilde Renate. The act is scheduled to showcase in July at Sispyhos, Berlin & set for a very special LIVE debut at Wilde Renate, this August. In an Interview with Todh Teri, Red Bull said - Indian artists have been loath to touch anything Bollywood and understandably so… Step in Todh Teri who wants to connect the lost world of Indian disco with western club sounds. Teri understands that most Indian artists are (or were) not sure [about edits], because without proper execution, they can be easily clubbed as [mainstream] Bollywood remixes.

2019 sees Get Physical turn its always pan-global focus towards the shining stars of the emerging Indian dance music scene with a fantastic new 12 track compilation album featuring some of the country’s key contemporary talents. 
This brilliant selection is compiled by Todh Teri, who is behind the acclaimed Deep In India release series and is at the heart of the revival of Indian cinematic sounds, where Bollywood music is reworked for the modern dance floor. When asked about India Gets Physical, he says,” The artists and music I've put together for this project are predominantly electronic, but with just a pinch of India. Clearly steering away from all probable cliches, all of these tracks sound very international but with just a hint of an Indian tone, scale or sound. It is our lil’ nod to the motherland.” 
The exploration begins with Soulspace from Bangalore, respected DJ & producer who has been supported by Laurent Garnier in the past. After his warm deep house comes Indian born German house stalwart Pawas with gentle acid undulations and Bangalore artist Unnayanaa who collaborates with singer Erika Lernot for a sashaying and deep groove with enchanting vocals bringing the exotic vibes. 
Further fine collabs find DJ and promoter Small Town Guy linking with singer and multi- instrumentalist Adil Smaeli to great effect on ‘Oasis’, then Delhi’s Hamza—who runs India’s first house label, Wind Horse Records—ups the tempo with the soulful and intoxicating pads and tablas of ‘Morchang’. There are then trance inducing cuts from Calcutta star Troja, electro-disco jams from long time duo Sharaabi and prolific producer Arnold From Mumbai serves up superbly warm and sunny house. Kone Kone’s track is one that will be released on a special vinyl single and he is a producer with an international reputation, then compiler Todh Teri shows off his big room space disco skills before Red Bull Music Academy alumnus Murthovic and North-South India collab Malfnktion and MadStarbase close things out with pumping melodic techno and a unique take on trap and bass respectively. 
This is a colourful, charismatic and compelling ride through the sounds of the emerging Indian underground and one that is fascinating from start to finish. The album will be supported by a national tour with DJ and live sets from the featured artists.

Deep in India Volume 6 is probably the most intense release by live electronic artist & Indian disco edit king Todh Teri. It is a definite milestone in his ongoing endeavour of releasing and (most importantly) representing mysterious disco & house edits - from the Indian silver screen - on vinyl. He immediately gets down to business with Sampadan 18 as it swoons you down to disco town, providing you quintessential 80s thunder & lightning for competitive street dancing. In Sampadan 19, he passes the remix baton to AAGUU (his first release), who further intensifies the dance off with a trippy arpeggiator induced frenzy.
