Inspired by the classic albums and mixes from DJ legend LTJ Bukem and more than a decade in the making, “Heavy Breathing” is Dieselboy’s full-length all liquid drum and bass magnum opus and a love letter to the form. This stunning 130 minute / 108 track mix was curated from thousands of tunes he has collected for this project since the early 2000s, and painstaking care and attention was given to weaving a tight tapestry of double and triple drops plus multiple layers of edits, loops and samples in order to bring this creation to life. Designed for use as both a subtle background soundtrack as well as loud sessions when good vibes are desired, “Heavy Breathing” will pull you on an inner journey through deep waves of soul, funk, disco, rhythm, blues and lush ambience. Heavy Breathing

I was dropped off at home on Lion St. around noon, no one was home. This was my chance to bang away at my drumkit with no interference from the folks. First, I wanted to drill a hole in my cracked cymbal to stave off the destruction of my expensive piece of shit, so where else to find a power drill but the garage, where tools are kept. I proceed to unlock the garage and lift the old splintered door above my head. The radio is on a local station and its playing Nirvana's "Lithium." "Bill must have left it on last night," I thought, knowing my dad is only human. I start to look around for the drill. Out of the corner of my eyes, to the right, I notice a human form. In a white under shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes, hangs Bill by a yellow nylon rope tied to the garage rafters. Blood and saliva are dried on the left side of his white shirt. His head tilts to the left as well, with the rope's knot directly behind his right ear. A stool was on its side below him. His face looked intensely "clammy." Terror made real. (A bear in a dream is a very rich and complicated dream symbol. In order to understand it, objective association need to be made. Bears are solitary animals and the females are solitary mothers. They hibernate in a cave and they are generally not predatory animals. A bear is only aggressive when provoked, and as such times he is dangerous and deadly. Bears in dreams may represent a period of introspection and depression. However, this may be a part of a healing cycle, where the dreamer has retreated into himself in order to regenerate and in order to create something new and valuable in his life. Bears are highly regarded symbols in a variety of cultures and traditions, including the Native American tradition. Carl Jung said that all wild animals represent latent affects (feelings and emotions). The interpretation of the bear in a dream may be influenced by your perception of it and by the events in the dream. The bear may represent qualities in your character or specific aspects of your personality. Bears are usually associated with danger and aggression, but this is a very narrow view of this powerful dream symbol.)
