If you are into electronic music and experimental stuff then this may be an interesting listen. Its a feature I did on Sonic Weekend for Mark Coopers Social show. Sonic Weekend is a musical experiment started by Marc Hunter & Anne Shenton that has been going since 2007. A yearly event run over 5 days. It  involves a rotating group of musicians/artists getting together in a big house where a studio is set up. They group up and make music/noise. The output, a mixed, edited mastered album of whatever was recorded. I was producer/engineer for the last few years with Tim Dorney, Dean Honer and Pierre producing in years before that. This feature is a fast tour of what was always a total mad/fun/inspiring time. Take a listen if you dare ;)

A collaboration that fuses the soulful, melodic vocals and songs from classically trained Elite with cold hard live electronics from Matt Gunn. 
--Recorded in a non-conventional way--
Only Elite's vocals were taken from previous multitrack recordings of the songs she'd originally done. I (Matt) then re-built the music with a different set of sounds/tools/instruments and re-arranged where needed. I then ran all the music parts live by midi'ing up my chosen gear. A 90s MC505 & MC303 (mostly for retro sounding stuff- some drums, bass and sharp sounds ect). To this I added my Boutuque Juno, Moog Subsequent and MS1 to the already midi-mare! It took a fair few attempts - but once the 3 live music takes were complete and recorded straight down to a simple L/R stereo output I was able to fiddle with them lovely vocal tracks - simple right??? 
No not really but I fid it to try and keep things fresh, challenging and to train me up in the art of running multiple machines live in sync from a controlling center. I plan to do a very similar thing with my own music playing live electronic/machine/guitar stufff early next year - this was a great test). 
I also did it for the joy of doing it in a more old fashioned, 'there is no turning back' kinda way.
It was way more enjoyable to do than it probably sounds and it achieved what i wanted it to do - to have beautiful, rich and melodic clean vocals against edgy, hard and gritty electronic dancable music. 
I do hope you like it - It'll be out in Dec.
