We all know the phrase ‘And now for something completely different’. That’s exactly the quote we can use for this epic release! What’s the deal? Not long ago the band Shakes + Seven released the jazzy and sweaty ‘Music’, featuring Mr. Trumpet, how surprising, on trumpet. It was this riff that drew attention , so we started a tender for a couple of remakes using just the trumpet riff. The outcome was above expectation.

We invited Toffk to our DreamLab family and he surprised us with a solid and well-arranged remake. Easy listening, beautifully dressed-up progressive track, awesome reverbs and endless delayed trumpet strokes. The build-up and used percussion is phenomenal, imagine dreaming away with a cocktail on a tropical island, that’s exactly what is does!

Hydra (NG) is a rising force in the Afro House scene,  bring you our 8th release on OVAVA Music and this time with a 2 track EP. The emotionally charged track Moyo Wa Upendo leads the ep. This has original Swahili vocals and is set to be a summer hit. Blending tight rhythms, textured electronic soundscapes, and evocative storytelling, it showcases Hydra’s signature style and bold artistic vision. 
Translating to “Heart of Love” Moyo Wa Upendo is a powerful tribute to heritage and a symbolic return to roots, an intimate journey that invites listeners to connect with sound, culture, and identity, cementing Hydra (NG) as one of Afro House’s most compelling new voices. 
The second track on the EP is ‘like House’ with strong afro rhythms and a perfect partner to make this a super strong release.

Argentine producer Bernardo Baragiotta makes his Future Avenue debut with Lost Bird, a deep and melodic cut that continues his journey following earlier work on Kodai. The EP also features Kene Kene and Sunday Morning, the latter co-produced with Agustín Massari, showcasing Baragiotta's versatile and evolving sound across all three tracks.
