Advice for the DJs, producers and artists of our community:
I think the most important thing is firstly finding your community. Find the people and music that inspire you. If you can't find people and spaces that make you feel comfortable and safe - keep looking, as they are out there somewhere. Once you find it, invest in your scene - if you love and nurture it, it can give back to you. Then, give back some more... Create a symbiotic relationship. Ask questions of the people you look up to, even if the questions seem silly. It's great to have a goal but don't forget to enjoy the process. Practice heaps! Be kind to yourself as you learn. There will be setbacks and times that will make you want to give up completely - don't give up! These setbacks will offer so much room for growth and learning. Listen and take advice on board but then go your own way. Stay true to what feels natural to you. It's hard not to compare yourself to others, especially in the era of social media. I find it can be empowering to accept that those thoughts are there, and try and not give them too much air time. Don't listen to people who try to make you feel shame for taking yourself seriously. There is no shame in taking your art seriously. You're never too old to start!!! Learning about genres can be cool but don't stress about them. Last, but not least... Play tracks you love, and have fun :)

Back in April I had the chance to play at one of the coolest parties I've been to, WARNING in Berlin. Originally was booked to play as Space Cadets but Adam was ill so I did it solo, was quite nervous at the start (which never usually happens), when the pitch of the first track starts drifting by itself you know you're in for a real ride!

Luckily with the support of my friends and a really up for it crowd, I got into a flow pretty quick and everything just started to work - I think you can really hear that moment happen haha. The party was billed as a rave and I really leaned into that vibe, so lots of acidy bits, trippy tools and fast transitions!

Was a real pleasure to just play a bunch of my all time faves to such a great crowd on a ultra crisp and deep system, big love to anyone who was there! Hope you had as much fun dancing as I did playing <3
