This hour-long mix was inspired by some recent mixes I’ve been listening to over the last few months. Really into some recordings from the 2000s that are 116bpm-ish early morning sunrise energy, and this has a bit of that essence (A good mix to check out is the Troy Pierce Mix on Dance Shake Swing from Sept 2008, it's on Soundcloud). I decided to rev it up in the latter half but I still think it remains “deep” and keeps rolling along…which is my favourite energy to dance to. Hope you enjoy!

A live DJ recording from Don Chich B2B GNMR at For The Cause Festival outside of Melbourne in Poowong, Victoria Australia on 29 March 2025. For The Cause is a loving curated, grass roots and intimate festival from a group and community of wonderful and kind people doing it all for the right reasons. 

The guys played a now-legendary closing set the festival on Saturday night/Sunday morning from 2:30am till 7am and we're lucky enough to have it to share with the world. 

It's an immersive, barnstorming 4 and a half hours of the highest grade records, two selectors going b2b for the first time and by the sounds of this, definitely not the last. 

There are gems a plenty in this mix as you'd expect from Don - head chef of the always-reliable Don's Delicatessen channel on YouTube - and GNMR, an Italian selector who held a residency at the legendary Goa Club in Rome.

"Quorum" - MYKI’s debut EP that blends bacteria that signal each other to unite physically into the body of a drunken lumberjack who searches for truth and with a simple question discovers the strengths of the tree and chooses to return it from the act and leave it intact.

1. Srita Bagav
It is a circus of shame, fantasy and adrenaline passion that turns into an orgasmic crying "touch me already".
The production idea originated in the Tel Aviv Alphabet Club, the connections of the stubbornly diverse and the belief in their ability to blend and produce a common purpose is the essence of all this notion and there is an orgy of genres and elements without defining or judging.

2. Lips
Get closer to me, I'm ready.
All the feelings I had
Wandered through a tube to the lips.
Sometimes I feel drunk with pain
From hurt and self-pity
When we kiss
Innocence and silence
Like a lunar arm collects us.

3. Zanshin
I do not see or hear anything and go blind from the acid fog, preoccupied at 6:00 am and anxious to continue my way from the tar to the urine threshold.
Dark melody, eel bassline, a British officer's groove, and a melody that, like a locust swarm, sticks to the pyramid and covers it with endless bugs.


4. De Kesem
A cunning emulsion containing boiling oil and rose water.
From Trance Brake to Prog House at light speed!
It is recommended to play in a space with curtains.
