The sweetest Eurotic, founder of the lovely collective AZOTH in Nijmegen, brings this week’s mix! Eurotic is the fierce embodiment of a tantalizing energy that runs within the veins of his music. Staying true to his name Eurotic is the reflection of every facet of his artistic expression. From commanding dance floors with immersive, but sensory-charged sets to playfully teasing the crowd with house, progressive and trance elements. With lovely memories, we look back at the party we hosted last March with AZOTH in Mesh, and as a cherry on top, a lovely closing B2B with Eurotic and Carlos Valdes.

Fitalic - No Way Out

With this mix I delve deeper into the more late 90's early 2000's deep and progressive house era. One of my favourite tracks here undoubtedly is No Way Out from Fitalic. This track with its warm and deep chords depicts this sound perfectly. The break is made to bring everybody to the front of the dancefloor. It keeps on building after which it breaks down into this warm, lush and uplifting chorus. If used in the right way it can really get the dance floor going. It's minimal but has just the right elements to do the job flawlessly. I've been playing this out in the sun a lot lately that's why this is my highlight.

Hard to put a finger on this one. Bit of a dream to get lost in. No peaks and troughs really, just perpetual sequences, rhythms and even words filtering in and out. Joe’s always had a unique approach to djing, where the way things are done is just as important, if not more, than what’s being done. Despite calling the mix ‘off the cuff’, the guy’s seemingly got some backlog of ideas. Here's one, or several.
