Matteo Manzini is someone who has played a great part in the London Underground Scene for a while. From the times of promoting Damaged some 12 years ago to current times. 

The reason I asked Matteo for a mix is that I would like to recognise his development over the years which has been nothing but mesmerising.  A full Dj is one that does not stick to one genre of music only but one that is able to contextualise to slot, night, room, soundsystem, city, crowd, rest of line up and so on and Matteo has been achieving that amazingly.

Co-founder of the Offenbach based label Pager Records always offers something a little bit different in his musical styling. If it doesn’t have that certain funk or edge it just doesn’t make the cut. With a classic deep house sound at his core Evans sways between analogue breaks, more peak time bangers and hazy afternoon jams but always with a phat bassline underpinning the whole situation. If it is at all possible his bombs are room filling house but with a shimmering quality that few from the nu-skool are capable of. His recent ‘S-Mile’ LP is a true testament to this. @topper grew up in Turin (IT) surrounded by substances and tunes typical of a hippie-kind of environment. Jefferson Airplane, Grateful Dead and Pink Floyd were his daily milk. His dad, the "hippie", had a huge influence on him, and introduced his curious kid into the magic world of music and psychedelic culture. That’s the reason why he felt like he was born for music. Right at the beginning of the 3rd millennium he decided to move to Berlin. Since then, Topper is experimenting with his sound, discovering the hidden shapes of electronic and recorded music, meanwhile performing as dj with several Berlin crews (Klangsucht above all) and at several underground parties all around the city.

Since 2009 he’s resident with Daniele Papini at Club der Visionäre, hosting the infamous Noisy Glance party. Together with Daniele he joined @sleep-is-commercial and became one of the djs/producers on which the label's sound in productions and parties is focused on. He's resident in all Sleep is Commercial parties in Berlin. After his sound engineering studies and some years of deep studio engagement, in 2014 he released his first LP “Down by the River” and a handful of very well received EPs and remixes. Moving to the infamous Pausenraum studio was the definitive shift into a jam based creative process through a hardware setup, whose outcome will be the foundation of 3 labels to be started in 2015.

Berlin-based and Perlon regular wonderkid Felix Hk join our InSession mix series with a 3-hours long mix extracted from his opening set at SOLID AM showcase that took place at Zenner few weeks ago. An impeccable selection of tracks that set the tone for the 12+ hours marathon event that featured Ricardo Villalobos, Laidlaw, Sonja Moonear among others.

After an outstanding set at Get Perlonized in Bucharest last year, we set our eyes on Felix and this mix is only anticipating his debut with us, taking place in few months at Gottwood Festival 2023, where he will open our stage on Saturday 10/06

It’s safe to say that Resolute is to New York what Secretsundaze and Half Baked are to London, Sash! is to Sydney and the likes of Sunrise are to Romania. In onther words, it’s a party that’s very much at the heart of its country’s electronic music scene. And at the heart of any great party is its residents. Maksim (real name Maxim) is a Russian DJ/producer who’s been a key part of the Resolute party and a resident since 2013. 

Known for his groovy and infectious sets (that clearly, reflect his playful nature), he found music in his teenage years and is truly someone who’s worked his way up: he even worked as a lighting guy before turning his hand to DJing. It was in Brooklyn where he’s found his calling, impressing the Resolute crew and securing a residency that would lead him on a whole new lifepath. As we’re such fans, we decided to invite the man himself back for another mix. And this one's another cracker!

Resident of London's renowned Toi Toi Musik Events & Agency and more recently of Cartulis Music parties, Junki Inoue is a dedicated collector of vinyl for many years, Junki is comfortable playing sets at any time of the night and in any location: warm up, peak, closing, after-hours; warehouse or open air. Inoue’s sound stands out for its natural combination of Japanese and European traditions: precise and spare but warm and welcoming; deep and hypnotic for the mind, but always with energy and drive for the body.
