We all remember the time that Powder stepped up on stage at Equation last year. , her psychedelic, brain-melting, trippy sound set left us glued to the dance floor. The pulsating beats and hypnotic rhythms created an otherworldly atmosphere, transcending the boundaries of conventional sound. Each track seamlessly blended into the next, carrying us on a journey through the depths of electronic euphoria. Powder's intuitive mixing and ethereal selections transformed the night into a sensory experience, where time seemed to bend and reality melted away,   As the rainbow lighting illuminated the cave orchestrated by human spectrum left an image that lingered in our minds long after the music faded .

Dea is one half of the duo ERIS, she has joined our [dys]functional family  as a solo artist just over a year ago and like everyone that joins I ask for a piece of music where I can present them to the world, generally a Dj set so back then I asked her for a mix.

What I love about most of the artists with us, is that they are patient and understated, a feature that in a world of self entitled egos it comes as quite an asset.  I do adore those that take their time, specially to record a set, meaning it is more important to be and feel right about it than it is to rush through it. In a form of contrast to patience, there is Dea’s personality, which is pure  “fire” , you see, artists can have great mixing techniques and great record collections  but what we should be looking for is personality which in her case, she has in abundance.

In a beautiful world of polarising contradictions where patience meets fire Dea has recorded this special set for this special occasion, the Toi Toi takeover at fabric celebrating mine and her birthday, as good as a Sagittarius, as I am as she is, not surprisingly a fire sign.
